Orlano Groupe Limited (Orlano Groupe) was established as a sub-agent of a foreign supplier of meters to Ghana's electricity distribution companies. But the prevalence of stranded oil and gas fields offshore Ghana (due to factors such as heavy oil, small field-size, deepwater, low recovery margins) coupled with the geoscience and investment banking experience of the founder of the company, influenced the gradual transformation of Orlano Groupe.

We are now an upstream oil and gas consulting firm with a mission to promote the development of stranded oil and gas fields through: (a) marketing cost-effective but superior technologies that make the development of stranded fields economically attractive to operators, (b) rally joint-venture partners for stranded field development, and (c) arrange financing for stranded field development.

We work with a core team of consulting petroleum engineers, geologists, geophysicists, investment bankers and a support staff with valuable experience from leading firms in the upstream oil and gas industry. Our strength is based on local knowledge, relationships and expertise.
